Services

Animal Control Services are provided to Windsor by contract with the Sonoma County Animal Care and Control Division of the Agricultural Commission. The Sonoma County Animal Shelter is committed to serving the public in the care and well being of animals, both domestic and livestock. 

Animal Control Dispatch is available 24 hours.

Animal licenses are required by law. County ordinances require annual licensing for all dogs over four months of age. Get License Application. 

Take license application along with a copy of your dog's rabies vaccination certificate and spay/neuter certificate, if applicable to:

To purchase your dog's license by mail, fill out the License Application and mail it along with a copy of your dog's rabies vaccination certificate and spay/neuter certificate, if applicable, and a check for the appropriate fee to:
