Animal Services are provided to Windsor by contract with the Sonoma County Animal Services, Department of Health Services (formerly Sonoma County Animal Care and Control).  Sonoma County Animal Services  provides a broad range of services to promote a safe and healthy community of people and animals.

Animal Licenses
Animal licenses are required by ordinance for all dogs over four months of age.  There are three convenient ways to license your pet.  

Online:  License Me Online 

By Mail
1.  Download and complete the Sonoma County Dog License Application
2.  Print your completed application form.
3.  Mail your a) completed application form with b) proof of spay/neuter, if applicable, and rabies vaccination, and c) the license fee payment to the Animal Shelter.

In Person:
Purchase or renew your dog license, or order a replacement tag, in person at our shelter.
