For the November 8, 2022, General Municipal Election, active and registered voters will automatically receive a ballot in the mail starting the week of October 10, 2022. Once voters receive their ballot, they can mail in their vote using the prepaid envelope, drop the ballot in an official and secure ballot drop box or vote in-person. 

In-person Vote Centers

The Sonoma County Registrar of Voters has seven (7) vote centers open for 11 days and twenty-four (24) vote centers open for 4 days. Voters can vote in any of the locations listed on the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters website.  Below is a list of the closest centers to Windsor:

Official Ballot Drop Box

Windsor has a dedicated 24-hour secure drop box that will open October 11, 2022, and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on election day, November 8, 2022. Several other locations are listed on the County's website. 

If residents aren’t yet registered to vote, and would like to participate in this election, you are encouraged to register to vote here: https://registertovote.ca.gov/. Standard voter registration ends on October 24, 2022, but Conditional voter registration begins on October 25, 2022, and continues up until November 8, 2022, at 8:00 p.m.

If a voter doesn’t receive their ballot in the mail in the coming weeks and would like to vote-by-mail, the last day to request a ballot in the mail is November 1, 2022.
