
Overview
The Street Maintenance division is staffed by a Street Maintenance Supervisor, one Street Maintenance Specialist, three Street Maintenance Technicians and one Street Maintenance Worker.
The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for:
- Maintenance of 78 miles of streets and roads throughout Windsor
- 19 signalized intersections
- Over 2,200 streetlights
- Graffiti abatement
- Storm patrol of flooded public streets, creeks and public ditches
- Inspection and cleaning of public storm drain system and inlets
- Hazardous spill response – creeks and roadways
- Response to traffic accidents and road hazards
- Removal of deceased animals from public right of way
