The Town of Windsor is now accepting applications for funding requests from non-profit organizations (501(c).3), that directly serve the community and benefit the Windsor community through human service or promotional projects, during the period of July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.
Town Council established the Non-Profit Grant Program in 1998, which is supported by the General Fund and is administered by the Town. Funds are awarded annually by the Town Council for services, programs or events held in the upcoming Fiscal Year. Funding recipients are reimbursed by the Town after expenses, as outlined in an agreement with each non-profit including any authorized conditions of funding.

Typically, the Town receives more requests than funds available. In 2017, the Town Council reviewed twenty (20) funding requests totaling $161,985 and awarded a total of $97,400 to nineteen (19) non-profit organizations for the current Fiscal Year 2017-2018. Submission of an application is not a guarantee of full or partial funding. Funding availability is subject to Town Council discretion and available funding.
