Annual Earth Day Trash Cleanup

Earth Day 2021

The Storm Water Program staff truly appreciates all those who have helped pick up street trash around Windsor in the past and hopes you can participate again for our semi-annual trash clean-up event. This time honoring Earth Day!

Take pride in Windsor's natural beauty by bringing your whole household to pick up trash!

Help keep the beautiful creeks in Windsor clean and protect wildlife habitat!

During the week of April 19th-22nd, volunteers can organize their own neighborhood clean-up, supported by the Town. Trash collection bags and gloves will be provided for pickup at the Public Works Department, at 8400 Windsor Road, outside Building 400.

On Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 9:00am-11:00am, participants can visit the Town Staff table at the corner of Victory Lane and MacFarlane Way to pick up a trash bag and collect trash along the roadway.

Filled bags will be picked up on April 24th once participants notify Town staff of the street intersection where bags of trash are left. A free Russian River Watershed “Ours to Protect” T-shirt will be given to the three participants who share the best photos of the event.

Wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart! Pandemic safety measures will be enforced.
